Terms of Use

The rules governing access to and use of the Teens Wanna Know websites, video player, radio service and related services.

Last updated 10 September 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Teens Wanna Know websites, video player, radio service and related services.

1. Operator and scope

Teens Wanna Know is operated by Pena Media Group ("PMG," "we," "us" or "our").

These Terms apply to:

  • teenswannaknow.com
  • play.teenswannaknow.com
  • radio.teenswannaknow.com
  • videos.teenswannaknow.com
  • Other Teens Wanna Know services that link to these Terms

Together, these are the "Services."

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Age

The Services are general-audience entertainment services intended for users age 13 and older. They are not directed to children under 13.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Permission to use the Services

Subject to these Terms, PMG grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to access and use the Services for personal, lawful and noncommercial purposes.

You may watch and listen to publicly available programming and share links to publicly available videos, streams and articles.

This permission does not transfer ownership of any content or intellectual property.

4. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • Copy, download, extract, reproduce, republish, sell, license, distribute or re-host our video, audio, images, articles, captions, data or other content without written permission, except for temporary technical copies automatically created during ordinary browsing or as otherwise permitted by law.
  • Remove, bypass, block or interfere with advertising insertion, access controls, security features, attribution, copyright notices or technical restrictions.
  • Manipulate votes, traffic, advertising counts or engagement measurements.
  • Use bots, scripts or automated systems to create artificial traffic, votes or interactions.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically extract content or data without written permission, except for ordinary public search-engine indexing conducted in accordance with our technical directives.
  • Use content from the Services to build or train an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning dataset or model without written permission.
  • Probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without authorization.
  • Attempt to access administrative areas, credentials, servers, systems or data not intended for you.
  • Introduce malware, disruptive code or excessive traffic.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation with PMG.
  • Use the Services in a manner that violates law or infringes another person's rights.
  • Assist another person in doing any of the above.

We may restrict or block access reasonably believed to violate these Terms or threaten the Services.

5. Votes and audience interactions

Voting features are offered for entertainment and programming feedback.

Vote counts are not elections, scientific surveys or guaranteed measurements of unique individuals. We may reject, adjust or remove votes when we reasonably believe they resulted from automation, manipulation, technical error or abuse.

We may modify or discontinue voting features at any time.

6. Ownership and intellectual property

The Services, their design and their original content — including interviews, recordings, articles, photographs, graphics, branding, software and the Teens Wanna Know name — are owned by or licensed to PMG and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Third-party names, trademarks, footage, music, photographs and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Third-party materials may appear under license or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

No trademark license or permission to use PMG branding is granted except through separate written authorization.

7. Copyright concerns

If you believe material available through the Services infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to represent, email info@teenswannaknow.com and provide:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work.
  • The exact URL or location of the material at issue.
  • Your name and contact information.
  • An explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized.
  • A statement that the information supplied is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We may request additional information and may remove or restrict material while reviewing a claim. Submission of a complaint does not guarantee removal and does not waive any rights or defenses available to PMG or another party.

8. Editorial coverage and removal requests

The Services include interviews, photographs, commentary, reporting, reviews and archival entertainment coverage.

Requests to correct, edit, restrict or remove published editorial material are evaluated individually. We may consider accuracy, privacy, safety, newsworthiness, public interest, contractual rights, existing permissions, archival value and applicable law.

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify a requester's identity, authority and relationship to the material.

Submitting a request does not create an automatic right to removal. Depending on the circumstances, we may correct, edit, restrict, remove or retain the material.

Requests may be sent to info@teenswannaknow.com with the relevant URL and sufficient information to identify the issue.

9. Advertising, sponsorship and affiliate links

Videos, audio programs and articles may contain advertising, sponsorships, promotional messages or affiliate links.

Advertisements delivered through the player are selected according to the associated programming rather than a behavioral profile of the viewer.

Sponsored editorial coverage will be identified as sponsored or through another reasonably clear disclosure. Affiliate links may generate compensation for PMG if a purchase or other qualifying action occurs.

An advertisement, affiliate relationship or link does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of everything an advertiser, sponsor or retailer offers or states.

Advertisers, sponsors and retailers are responsible for their own products, services, websites, representations and privacy practices.

10. Purchases

Purchases made through the Services may be subject to additional product descriptions, checkout terms, shipping terms, refund policies or license terms presented at the time of purchase.

Payments may be processed by Stripe or another identified payment provider. Use of the payment provider is also subject to that provider's applicable terms.

You agree to provide accurate payment and order information and to pay all charges you authorize.

Unless otherwise required by law, product eligibility, delivery, returns and refunds are governed by the terms presented for the applicable purchase.

11. Third-party services

The Services may link to or embed material from YouTube, social platforms, payment providers, sponsors, retailers and other third parties.

PMG does not control those third-party services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

A link or embed does not imply that PMG controls, guarantees or accepts responsibility for the third party or everything available through it.

12. Availability and changes

We may add, remove, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Services will always be available.
  • Streams or media will be uninterrupted.
  • Every feature will work on every device.
  • Archived content will remain available permanently.
  • Information will always be complete, current or error-free.

We may perform maintenance, change providers, remove programming or restrict access without creating liability to the extent permitted by law.

13. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PMG disclaims all express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted availability.

Editorial and entertainment content is provided for general information and entertainment. It is not professional, medical, legal, financial or safety advice.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PMG and its owners, personnel, contractors, licensors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of opportunity or business interruption arising from or related to the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PMG's aggregate liability for claims arising from or related to the Services will not exceed the greater of:

  • The amount you paid directly to PMG for the relevant service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • One hundred US dollars.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory asserted, but they do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Responsibility for violations

You are responsible for losses, claims and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful use of the Services, infringement of another person's rights or material violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This section does not impose responsibility that applicable law does not permit.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdictional rules that apply where you live, disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking appropriate relief in small-claims court or requesting urgent injunctive relief where legally available.

17. General provisions

If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written permission. We may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, financing, sale, transfer of assets or similar business transaction.

These Terms and any additional terms presented for a particular service or purchase constitute the agreement concerning that service.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Services or applicable requirements change.

The "Last updated" date identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date unless otherwise required by law.

Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
